Why do people wear masks while riding a motorcycle?

It’s funny how people argue about whether cereal is a soup or a salad.

Sometimes, I wonder if people believe what they see,

Or just see what they already believe.

Why is the news never new?

It’s funny how weather forecasters always look so surprised.

Sometimes, I wonder why we get mad watching a screen,

But never try to intervene.

Why do people always try to talk to you when you’re busy?

It’s funny how we forget someone’s name right after we meet them.

Sometimes, I wonder if we really see the people around us,

Or just imagine them how we want them to be.

Why do you always get stuck in a drive thru?

It’s funny how we think something cost less if it’s divided into more payments.

Sometimes, I wonder why we care about the dollars it costs to create,

But not about the lives it costs to make.

Why do we feel sorry for people that cry on TV?

It’s funny how someone can frown and be happy but smile and be sad.

Sometimes, I wonder if emotions are real,

Or just what we think we should feel
